When it comes to dining, if I make a dinner reservation for a restaurant in Epcot, will I need to plan on being at that park all day or can you enter a park just for dinner?

    Hi Chelsea!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

There are so many fabulous restaurants in the Walt Disney World theme parks that it makes sense to enjoy dining at some of them.  You absolutely can visit a park just for dinner, but you will need theme park admission to enter any park, for whatever reason.  This is why I would usually combine dining + spending some time at the park.  It is easy to factor a dining reservation into your day.   Breakfast is a great idea, especially if your reservation time is for earlier than park opening.  You will have the opportunity to enjoy the magical atmosphere of the park before everyone arrives, just as it is waking up!  This also provides great photo opportunities.   Lunchtime dining offers a welcome break, and a chance to rest your feet and enjoy some air conditioning!  And dinner reservations are a lovely way to wind up your day, maybe followed by watching the fireworks or a show at the park.   At Epcot, there is a large choice of good restaurants, especially around World Showcase, and reservations are recommended to avoid disappointment.  These can be made up to 180 days in advance, online, or by calling (407) 939 3463, or by using the My Disney Experience mobile app.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation at Walt Disney World.
