How do you combine duplicate friends on my disney experience. They are the same person but one icon has tickets and the other a resort reservation

    Welcome to Agrahbah Traveler!

Hi Madonna, I’m thrilled to see that your Magic Carpet has brought you here to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I hope you got to see some new sights on your journey here.

When it comes to managing your Family & Friends list on your My Disney Experience account, I do have some handy tips that I hope can help! Last summer, I had a similar experience. I added my friend to my account so that she could be on our dining reservations. However, when we got to the parks ready to use our FastPass+ reservations, her MagicBand wasn’t lighting up at the entrance. Turns out, since I manually added her without “requesting to connect” to her already created account, I had two of her on my list! One was her real My Disney Experience account, the other, was the one I had created for her on my end.

My first recommendation is to verify which account is the correct one! If it honestly is just a duplicate account, I would go ahead and ask a Genie for help, using the My Disney Experience MagicBands and FastPass+ phone number. With the help of a Genie, the two accounts can be merged to one!

Madonna, once the duplicate account is corrected, you will be back to planning your visit to this shining, shimmering, splendid resort! Please don’t worry about using up your 3 wishes. If you find that you need more help with planning “you ain’t never had a friend like me” and the rest of us, here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. We are always only a click away!
