Hi Kim,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question. I was so excited to hear that Disneyland Resort has re-opened in California, and now I am patiently waiting for the announcement that out of state and international guests are able to walk through the beautiful gates of
Disneyland Park!
Due to current state guidelines,
Disneyland Resort is open for California Residents with more information regarding out of state and international guests to be released at a later date. While we don't have a specific date for when Disneyland Resort will be open to out of state and international guests due to the ever changing situation with Covid-19, there is still hope that we will both be able to visit the "Happiest Place on Earth" in the coming months. Please keep checking the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the official
Disneyland Resort website for the most up to date information regarding the phased re-opening of Disneyland Resort.
When purchasing
Theme Park Tickets, please keep in mind that they are non-refundable and non-transferrable, so it would be a shame to purchase your Theme Park Tickets and not be able to visit Disneyland Resort. Make sure you check the expiry date for the Theme Park Tickets you are purchasing, you may be able to make it to Disneyland Resort before the expiry date. If not, don't worry, guests are able to use the value of their expired Theme Park Tickets toward the purchase of new Tickets, so you will never lose your Theme Park Tickets.
I hope you found this information useful, Kim. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and visit us here at
planDisney, we are always happy to help.
