Hello, Andrea!
I’m glad you stopped by
planDisney with this
Disneyland Resort question. I know that you and many others are eagerly awaiting the day you can return to the magic of the theme parks!
As you mentioned,
theme park ticket expiration dates have indeed been extended. Unused, non-promotional single-day tickets that originally expired on December 30, 2020 or March 31, 2021 now have an expiration date of December 16, 2021. Restrictions in California are being lifted as our state returns to normal, and I have every reason to believe that out-of-state Guests will be allowed to visit the Disneyland Resort theme parks in the near future if conditions continue to improve. However, even if the extended expiration date arrives before you’re able to plan your vacation, there's no need to worry because you'll still be able to use the amount you paid for your tickets originally as credit toward new tickets at the current prices.
Link your tickets to your account on
Disneyland.com or with the
Disneyland mobile app to check their current expiration date. Guests must have a valid theme park ticket linked to their Disney account to make a
theme park reservation, so when the resort is able to welcome back visitors from other states, you’ll be ready to make your plans as soon as possible! If you have issues linking the tickets or have any other questions regarding their use, please call (714) 781-4636 to speak with a Cast Member.
I hope this helps you, Andrea, and that your pixie-dusted vacation is just around the corner! Please visit us again with any other planning questions you have.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
