Hi Kathryn!
Welcome to planDisney! And welcome to residing in beautiful
Southern California! Thank you so much for sending this
Disneyland Resort Magic Key planning question to us hEAR at planDisney!
I was in a similar situation as you, Kathryn, when my husband was stationed in the SoCal area a few yEARs ago; I just couldn't live that close to Mickey's house and not have an annual pass. I was able to secure membership to the
coolest club in the Kingdom by showing my out-of-state license, housing documents (I used a utility bill), and my Military ID, and you should be able to show something similar. Bring your driver's license, your school ID, and a form of housing or enrollment - this last part can even be pulled from your phone. This should be all that you need to establish the temporary residency that allows you to purchase either the
Imagine Magic Key, which is only available to those residing in zip codes 90000 - 93599, to qualify for a Magic Key monthly payment plan, or both!
Before you sign up for anything, I want you to double-check the
Magic Key Access Calendars to make sure they line up with your schedule. Remember that you're only allowed to have so many
Park Pass Reservations at any one time. And should you need to reschedule at the last minute, that's completely fine. Lastly, don't miss out on any of the member-exclusive fun that your Magic Key unlocks! From exclusive photo opps to nifty gifties to a
members-only lounge and even shopping and dining discounts, there are so many moments that you won't want to miss. Be sure to follow the
Disneyland Magic Key Instagram account so you'll never miss an announcement!
Thank you again for stopping by to see us, Kathryn! Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Instagram account, as well as our
brand new planDisney Podcast, for even more tips and tricks! And if you have any more Disneyland Resort or Magic Key questions, We're All Ears!
