Hello, Gillian, and welcome to
planDisney!
Thank you for consulting planDisney for your important question and I fully understand your reason for wanting to modify or cancel your plans. I also support your idea to postpone your visit until after midterms are done, this way you can relax and bask in all the magic at
Walt Disney World Resort and be carefree. I recently enjoyed the time-limited
Walt Disney World Resort 50th Anniversary Celebration and I wouldn’t want you to miss out on
The World’s Most Magical Celebration!Gillian, you might be able to modify your Walt Disney World Resort reservation by signing into your Disney account and by retrieving details via
My Plans - Dining, Resort Hotel and Tickets in your
My Disney Experience planning tab on the top right of the main page. If you see the option to modify your
Resort Hotel, then you can try that. Still, I would recommend contacting a Cast Member at
Walt Disney World Resort - Disney Resort Hotel Reservations for direct assistance. Please be sure to do this 30 days or more before your scheduled trip as conditions and fees may apply and I am not sure of the type of package or reservation you have to be able to guide you further.
One important logistical aspect you can perform via your Disney account is to refer to the
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Availability Calendar for a new set of dates, cancel your existing
Theme Park Reservations and then make a new set. And don’t forget to adjust your
Disney Dining Reservations to align with your new plans.
Tips:Don’t miss out on the
Boo-tastic Walt Disney World Resort Autumn Events and Festivities, especially with
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party a special event which requires a separate ticket, and travel across the globe to enjoy artistic, musical, culinary events and fare at the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival!
Download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to enjoy many essential vacation features which will add great convenience to your visit!
Gillian, Mickey Mouse and Friends and I too, wish you all the best with your college midterms and we hope you consider modifying your plans to enjoy all the magical experiences and have a lot of fun at Walt Disney World Resort!
Best Disney Wishes and See Ya Real Soon!Jacqueline
