HI Kelli! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited to hear you're planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort next year! Before you know it, you'll be arriving for a magical stay filled with unforgettable experiences and lasting memories!
Purchasing Disney Gift Cards before your stay is the best way to begin budgeting for your trip. Not only does it allow you to allocate funds that can be used during your Disney vacation, but using them on-site is an easy payment option.
I have great news for you, Kelli! You can
combine balances from various Disney Gift Cards onto one. To do so, you need to visit the Disney Gift Card website and log in to your My Disney Experience account. Select "My Cards" at the top of the screen to begin loading your gift cards into your account. You'll need the 16-digit account number and 4- or 8-digit EAN (or Security Code) to do so. Look for a transfer funds option to begin the process. Please note that only full balances can be transferred from one card to another, and the maximum amount for a Disney Gift Card is $1,000 (subject to change at any time).
If you only possess eGift cards at this time, you may need to purchase a physical
Disney Gift Card to transfer some of these balances to. You can purchase these cards at many retail stores, including grocery and department stores. Once you have it in hand, you can load this card to your account and begin transferring the balances to this specific card.
Kelli, I hope this information helps you plan for your stay! Keep in mind that you can save your eGift cards in your mobile wallet and use them for payment along the way. Many dining and merchandise locations at Walt Disney World can scan the barcode on your mobile device, and it will apply payment from your gift card.
Stop back and
