Hi there, Rebecca - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks for stopping by with your question - our team of panelists love to help Guests just like you plan magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Let me just say that I'm quite jealous of all your
Disney Gift Card treasures! You are correct that currently only one Disney Gift Card can be used in an online transaction, and the maximum balance on any one Disney Gift Card is $1,000. To purchase new tickets and explore your options for paying with multiple Disney Gift Cards or other forms of payment, I suggest you call 407-939-7679 and speak to a Cast Member.
Before doing so, it would be a good idea to combine the balances as much as you can. So, if you have $2,500 worth of gift cards, you'd want to combine them into two $1,000 cards and one $500 card. It just makes the transactions a bit easier.
You might also consider purchasing tickets yourself in multiple transactions, each being under $1,000. I've heard of some Guests who will break their order in two, and transfer funds between gift cards so that each card has the exact amount needed for each transaction. They then combine whatever funds are leftover into a single gift card to bring with them for purchases during their vacation.
I hope this is helpful, though I'm sure you were hoping for an easier answer! Things are always evolving, so this might be an easier process in the future, but for now, these are your best options.
Please let me know if any other questions come up as you continue planning!
