Hi, Lisa!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Using Disney Gift Cards to save up for magical visits to the Walt Disney World Resort is one of my go-to ways of saving up for my trips. I try to grab small amounts when I grocery shop and even ask for gift cards in lieu of birthday presents. They can add up. But like you, I’ve ended up with stacks of gift cards that can easily get lost. Well, I have an easy solution for you that will help get those gift cards consolidated.
Lisa, grab all your Disney Gift Cards and head on over to
disneygiftcard.com. Create an account and start entering your cards. Once they are all loaded, you can start transferring up to $1000 on each gift card. This should help shrink your stack and give you the peace of mind that they are registered so you can check your balance and manage them easily.
Do still treat your gift cards like cash. You can always transfer funds if you accidentally misplace a card. But they are not guaranteed if stolen. And be sure to label them accordingly so you can stay organized. Once you arrive at the most magical place on earth, you can pay off your charged balance at your Disney Hotel nightly.
Did you know you can now track your charges right on your mobile device on the
My Disney Experience mobile app? I love this recently updated feature. Be sure to have the app downloaded and ready to go before you arrive. It a must during your adventure filled days at the Walt Disney World Resort.
Thanks again for stopping by! We hope to see you again real soon!
