Hi Jennifer! Welcome to planDisney!
Is there a better place to travel for work than to the
Most Magical Place on Earth? I'm excited that you and your colleagues will be staying at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort during your stay! With the addition of the Gran Destino Tower and multiple dining locations, this resort has quickly become a favorite of mine.
Typically, Walt Disney World does not offer transportation to any location outside of Disney property. However, I would check with the conference center to see if they have set up a private service to shuttle Guests back and forth. If enough of the conference goers are staying in Disney Resorts Hotels, it's possible that there may be a shuttle service set up.
I looked up where the Orlando World Center is located, and it seems like it is about 5 miles from your resort. If there is no transportation service provided, your best option will be to use a ride-share service to get back and forth. There are plenty available in this area and many with minimal wait times. You shouldn't have any issues utilizing these services.
If you plan on spending any time at the parks or at Disney Springs, Disney provides
complimentary transportation each day. There are multiple bus stops throughout this resort, so you shouldn't have to walk too far from your resort room.
Since you're staying at Coronado Springs Resort, make sure to stop by
Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Villa del Lago for a bite to eat. Not only are the food and drinks amazing but the atmosphere cannot be beaten. It sits in the middle of Lake Dorado and offers a serene dining experience.
Jennifer, I hope this information helps you during your visit next month!
