Hi, Brandi! Welcome to planDisney.
Eek! It’s almost time for your fabulous family vacation at sea. I still remember the excitement of taking my son on his first Disney Cruise. Our suitcase nearly exceeded the airline's weight limit due to the multitude of items we brought for him. Despite their small size, kids seem to travel with a lot of gadgets and gizmos. Having a designated spot for all their thingamabobs can be pretty handy. I'm happy to assist you in getting ready for your voyage.
Collapsible wagons may be brought on board. Much like passing through security at the airport, your wagon will be manually inspected at the terminal, and you will probably have to remove and scan everything. Before you depart, glance through the list of
Prohibited Items to ensure that everything is shipshape for your voyage.
Brandi, you mentioned taking formula and bottled water. Disney Cruise Line offers a variety of
convenient services and amenities for parents traveling with little ones. Should you require them, your stateroom host can provide a diaper disposal unit, bottle warmer, and bottle sterilizer upon request. You’ll also find that the water served throughout the ship and at the
Beverage Station is filtered.
If you decide to leave your wagon at home, Guest Services has a limited number of complimentary strollers available for use throughout your cruise, both onboard and during onshore activities. If you visit Disney's private island,
Castaway Cay, you’ll find complimentary beach-ready wagons near Scuttle’s Cove and the Pelican Point tram stop. This is a fantastic option if you only intend to use the wagon on the island.
I'm wishing you safe travels and many happy memories ahead. We would love to have you return and visit us again at planDisney.
SEAS the adventure!
