Are collapsible stools allowed at Disneyland?

Hi Hugo! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

I understand being worried about all that time on your feet during a long park day. First of all, don't worry, there are lots of places to sit and rest throughout the Disneyland Resort. Some of my favorite places are along Main Street, U.S.A. in Disneyland Park, but enjoying the atmosphere and entertainment with a snack in hand is an excellent way to pass the time throughout the parks! I also suggest wearing comfortable shoes, bringing a change of shoes if you're visiting for multiple days, and if you need additional assistance, renting a wheelchair or ECV. Rentals can be found close to the Disneyland Park entrance. It's a really convenient option, which I've taken advantage of on visits when I wasn't able to comfortably walk.

Also, Lightning Lane passes allow Guests to spend less time waiting in queues, so you can experience the magic of the parks while you await your Lightning Lane Entrance window. This is a great option that my family always chooses. You can sit somewhere while waiting for that Attraction window to come up or explore other fun experiences. This option is available for purchase with your tickets, or you can add it on the Disneyland mobile app after entering the park, subject to availability.

My family also makes at least one dining reservation a day. We really enjoy the ambiance and yummy choices, but it's also a chance to rest our feet and connect as a family. You can typically book a dining reservation at most locations at 60 days out. Some are really popular and fill up fast. Availability isn't guaranteed. If you're in your dining reservation booking window, take a look and see if any options fit your group's dining needs.

However, collapsible stools are not allowed in the parks according to the current park rules. Guests entering the parks with a prohibited item will be turned away by security. You don't want to have to head back to your car or hotel to stow away your stool, so plan other ways to rest throughout your park day.

    I hope this helps!
