    Is it too cold to go to Typhoon Lagoon park end of December/ beginning of January? Thanks!

    Hello Darla!  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. 

    My family and I spend the week of Christmas at Walt Disney World.  Last year, we were able to enjoy Blizzard Beach during our vacation.  All of the pools and water parks are heated to a lovely 82 degrees all year long.  I have spent many vacations during that time frame enjoying swimming at Walt Disney World but there has been that occasional cold spell.  If it were me, I would wait to purchase your water park tickets until you are actually on vacation.  That way if it is too cold you wont waste your money.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
