What is the coffee they serve in Cabanas on the Disney Magic around this time of year? The cruise was December 28-January 2nd.

    Hi there, Dani!

I'm more of a hot chocolate and herbal teas type of person myself. But I still understand that everyone seems to thoroughly enjoy the variety of options for coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and other drinks onboard a Disney cruise. Or, as my planDisney pal Dustin puts it, your own personal "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Brew."

I'm not aware of any seasonal changes to the regular coffee service on board the Disney Cruise Line. So it's fairly likely that what you experienced on the Disney Magic is Joffrey's Coffee. You can normally find Joffrey's in the self-service beverage stations both in Cabanas and on the open decks of the ships.

If you happen to visit Cove Café or another of the specialty cafés available on your Disney Cruise Line ship, you may very well come across some seasonal offerings of specialty drinks. While not included with your regular cruise fare, I find many of these specialty drinks can bring a special magical touch to our Disney Cruise Line vacations. My favorite is the "Merry Cocoa," which was available at Hei Hei Café on the Disney Treasure during Very Merrytime Cruises this past season. It was a delicious blend of Nutella, milk, peppermint, and cold foam with a peppermint bark stirrer. Oh, and I'm pretty sure it included a few dashes of pure Disney magic, since it had us coming back over and over on our most recent cruise.

Dani, if there's one thing that perks me up, it's the thought of our next Disney cruise where we can enjoy more specialty drinks and many magical memories. Whether or not you happened to book a placeholder reservation while you were onboard the Magic, I'm guessing you are already dreaming of your next sailing. Since you mentioned your New Year's Eve cruise, you've got me dreaming of our upcoming New Year's Eve sailing on the Magic's sister ship: the Disney Wonder. We cannot wait to ring in the new year "Where Magic Meets the Sea."

    Have a magical time, Dani!
