How exciting! You can count on one hand the number of days until you arrive at
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. I recently stayed at this resort. The grounds are stunningly beautiful with the calm bayou running throughout the property. This setting was perfect for my morning training runs for my next
runDisney event.
As a fellow coffee lover, I am happy to report, your single-serve Joffrey's coffee pods along with creamers, coffee cups, stirrers, sweeteners, etc. are all set up in a nice convenient coffee station. Replenishment for all of these is only a call away from Mousekeeping.
The
Riverside Mill Food Court offered a fantastic breakfast. I thoroughly enjoyed the
Bacon, Egg, and Cheese Bagel Sandwich before my busy park day. In the evenings, I capped off my night with an
adult libation at the
River Roost bar.
Finally, if visiting the theme parks, remember as a guest of a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, you have an
Early Theme Park Entry benefit. This will get you into all four theme parks 30 minutes before the parks officially open.
