Hello Jean,
Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.
It will likely come as no surprise, self-professed Disney geek that I am, that I have a kitchen cabinet filled with Disney-themed coffee mugs. (That's not to mention the cabinets filled with Disney-themed bakeware, glassware, and tableware.) Starting out my day drinking my tea or coffee from a favorite Disney mug always brings a smile to my face, especially as I play back a memory from the trip when I picked it up. A Walt Disney World coffee mug carries more than a caffeinated beverage. It carries all the cherished moments from so many Disney destination vacations.
It will also come as no surprise, I think, that with hundreds of mugs of different styles and designs and themes, there isn't a simple one-mug-fits-all answer to the question of where the mugs are made. If you're browsing online at
shopDisney, you'll notice that the product details section of the listing might note whether or not the product is imported, though it typically won't specify the import location. To find the import location, you'd want to check the item itself. I know in my own Disney coffee mug collection, there are mugs stamped "Made in China" and "Made in Thailand." One of my most favorite coffee mugs — a gift "from me to me" — is an
Arribas Brothers clear glass Mickey Mouse mug that I personalized with my name, and that mug is made in the U.S.A.
Jean, I hope this information is helpful. If you have any questions at all as you plan your Walt Disney World vacation, please do just let us know here at Disney Parks Moms Panel. We're happy to help.
Enjoy your Disney!
Jerry
