Is there a coffee maker in my yacht club room? If so what kind is it?

    Heigh-Ho, Heigh-Ho, Summer!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for stopping by with your question. It looks like your magical Disney vacation is just around the riverbend, so I'll get right to your answer.

Summer, I am a coffee drinker too, and I especially love it in the morning on my Disney park days, as it adds a little extra zip-a-dee-doo-dah to help with those early theme park entries!  Your Disney's Yacht Club Resort room will indeed have a coffee maker in it.  Typically, these are the Keurig or Cuisinart pod coffee makers, and recently I have seen ones that can make one or two single cups of coffee at a time. You'll find Joffrey's coffee pods, tea pods, a few creamers and sweeteners, as well as take-away coffee cups and lids, near the coffee pot. And, if you are like me and enjoy milk or half and half with your coffee, you can use the beverage cooler in your room as well.  The Market at Ale & Compass will sell single milk bottles or cartons you can store in your beverage cooler.

Now, if you run out of coffee pods or any of the supplies, you can use the "Hey Disney" device in your room. It's easy to spot - it's the screen with the Mickey ears.  Whether you need more coffee and tea for your room, an extra pillow or towels, want to know the park operating hours, or even want a wake-up call from one of your favorite characters, just say, "Hey Disney, show me what you can do!" Then, you can select what you need and put in your request. If it's an item for your room, Mousekeeping will stop by with your supplies. I think of it like my own personal magic wand. It's magic at your fingertips - literally!

If you need a grab-and-go breakfast to go with your Joffrey's, I recommend Mickey waffles at The Market at Ale & Compass.  It's my favorite way to start my Disney day. Afterall, everything tastes better when it's Mickey-shaped!

I hope this helps you, Summer! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, soar back here to see me, and I'll be so happy to help you. Remember, a dream is a wish your heart makes when you're fast asleep. But if you keep on believing, the dream that you wish will come true.

    Have fun making magical memories!
