Hi there, Maria Renée! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney. It's great to meet you--you've got a friend in me and I am happy to help add a little extra pixie dust (and caffeine!) to your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World Resort. It will be here in just a few short weeks!
I take any and all questions about coffee at Walt Disney World VERY seriously! We like to start our days in the theme parks early, and rope-dropping sometimes requires a little extra boost of caffeine to get us through the day. Depending on where you are staying, the coffee setup may vary. Typically, Disney Vacation Club Deluxe Studios are equipped with a single-serve Cuisinart coffeemaker, and 1-Bedroom or larger Villas have standard 12-cup drip coffeemakers. If you prefer a Keurig machine, there are usually some available on request. Just inquire at check-in, and the Cast Members will do everything they can to work their magic for you!
Maria Renée, you can rest easy--all of the in-room coffee is free for Guests. You will find a starter pack of coffee, tea, and some accessories (sugar, creamers, stirrers) upon arrival. To request more supplies, check with Housekeeping, or use the very cool "Hey Disney!" virtual assistant that is located in all of the rooms. "Hey Disney!" is optional and complimentary--I think you'll enjoy exploring all of the fun things it can do. We asked our device for park hours, weather forecasts, and even some Disney trivia!
I hope this information is just what you need for your planning purposes, Maria. I just know you will have the most magical vacation ever--I am sure you're getting excited! Please stop by anytime if we can help with additional questions about Disney Vacation Club or Walt Disney World Resort.
Stay Magical!
Susan
