Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cindy!
When staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel, one of my first thoughts is "Where can I find my morning cup o' Joe?" I totally get you!
You will be happy to hear that if you are staying at a location that
includes a coffee maker in your room or suite, then coffee, tea, sugar/creamer will be provided daily. (The only exception is for Disney Vacation Club Members staying at a DVC Resort using Membership Points.) If there is a coffee maker in your room, you'll be able to
perk right up before even getting out of your jammies. Ahh...
Although this list is subject to change, at the time of this writing, coffee makers are provided at all rooms and suites at Deluxe Villas, Deluxe Resort Hotels, and
some Moderate Resort Hotels.
All Family Suites at Value Resort Hotels offer a coffee maker in-room as well.
To check on the status of
your Walt Disney World Resort hotel room's amenities, head to
Walt Disney World's website, then enter the name of your Resort hotel into the search bar. Click on the "Room Rates" tab, then scroll to the type of room you have selected and open the arrow entitled "View Amenities". If you see "coffee maker" listed, you'll find your coffee supplies refreshed each night. Score!
For those staying at one of the fantastic
Disney Value Resort Hotels, here's a quick overview of the coffee maker status:
Disney's Pop Century Resort: coffee makers in all rooms.
Disney's Art of Animation Resort:
Family Suites include a coffee maker in the kitchenette;
The Little Mermaid Standard Room does not offer a coffee maker.
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort: coffee makers in all rooms.
Disney's All-Star Music Resort:
Family Suites offer in-room coffee makers;
Standard Rooms or
Preferred Rooms do not.
Disney's All-Star Sports Resort: no coffee makers in rooms.
If, like me sometimes, you are staying in one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels rooms that
do not include a coffee maker, not to worry, Cindy. All of those resorts include a centrally-located food court within an easy walking distance of
all rooms. I love a brisk walk to Disney's All-Star Music Resort's
Intermission Food Court before sunrise, then people watch while lingering awhile over my (guilty pleasure) mix of coffee and a shot of hot chocolate. It's a great way to start a Disney Day!
In addition, Guests at all Walt Disney World Resort hotels are able to purchase a Refillable Mug, located at their Resort hotel's Self-service Beverage Islands. Fill 'er up with fountain beverages as well as coffee, tea, and hot chocolate at those Self-service Beverage Islands at any Disney Resort hotel during the length of stay. (Makes a great reminder of your trip once home, too!)
Have a fabulous visit, to The Most Magical Place on Earth, Cindy! Be sure to send us more questions as you think of them, too. We love to help!
