Hey there, Dan! Welcome to planDisney!
You sound like someone after my own Disney-planning heart, Dan. As someone who loves a good cocktail while having a blast at Walt Disney World, I've done my fair share of research on this very important topic. I'm thrilled to answer your question today to help you find the tastiest sips on your magical holiday!
If you're looking for a fresh cocktail at a quick-service dining location, my first tip is to stick with the locations within the parks (except for Magic Kingdom), instead of the Resort Hotels. Typically, the cocktails, wine and beer at the quick-service dining locations at the Resort Hotels are grab-and-go and served in a can or bottle.
In EPCOT, you can find fantastic cocktails at the outdoor bar located next to
Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the America Pavilion. The Moonshine Sour is delicious! While Dawa Bar is one of my favorite places to grab a quick cocktail at Animal Kingdom, Restaurantosaurus Lounge, near
Restaurantosaurus, is a hidden gem. My margarita even came with Mickey ears made of limes ... so cute! Currently, my favorite cocktail from a quick-service location in Hollywood Studios is the Watermelon Margarita from
ABC Commissary (and the food is great, too!).
Now, with all of that said, my recommendations will change a bit if you are using the
Disney Dining Plan. There are specific beverages with alcohol and specialty beverages included with the Dining Plan, and my recommendation is always to maximize your value by enjoying what is included. When I am on the Dining Plan, I typically take a break from Magic Kingdom and take the boat to Wilderness Lodge to enjoy a cocktail, great food and stunning lakeside views and vibes at the quick-service window of
Geyser Point Bar & Grill. In EPCOT, I find that the best beverages included on the Dining Plan are the frozen margaritas from
La Cantina de San Angel outside of the Mexico Pavilion and the cocktails at
Connections Eatery. I also love to sip an included-with-my-Dining-Plan cocktail at
Satu'li Canteen in Pandora at Animal Kingdom and
Docking Bay 7 in Galaxy's Edge at Hollywood Studios. While most of the cocktails at the quick-service dining locations may be pre-mixed for efficiency, I always find them to be tasty, refreshing and served with extra pixie dust. Enjoy!
I hope this was helpful, Dan, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable holiday, full of fantastic food, drinks and fun, at the Most Magical Place on Earth! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.
Cheers!
Mandy
