Hey Howdy Hey Shannon and welcome to planDisney!
Club-level access is a very nice compliment to the many resorts that have this option. There are so many conveniences that make staying in these resorts at this level a little extra Magical. Thank you for your question about staying at the various resorts with club-level options. Let's see if we can get you a bit closer to a decision!
Of the resorts that you are thinking of,
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney's Contemporary Resort,
Disney's Beach Club Resort or
Disney's Coronado Springs Resorts-Grand Destino Towers, I don't think there is a bad decision in any of these options. I think access and transportation would be the big things to consider going forward.
With both the Polynesian and Contemporary, the monorail would be your choice to travel to either EPCOT. You could choose to do the same for Magic Kingdom but you do have the option of a boat or you could walk! Super close and always having a view of the fireworks from Magic Kingdom is a nice little perk to each. From the Beach Club, you could walk to EPCOT and the buses would be your transportation option to Magic Kingdom. This is super nice to have the option to walk right into EPCOT at the International Gateway which is at the backside of the park and much less busy compared to the front. There you can also catch the
Disney Skyliner system to Hollywood Studios or other resorts such as Disney's Riviera Resort if you wanted to do a little resort hopping and check out. With Grand Destino, your only option would be buses. If you like the convenience of walking to one of the parks and a wide variety of transportation options, you might want to steer away from Grand Destino as it has fewer options for navigation.
The other part of the equation would be access to the parks. At this time, Disney does have a perk for those staying at Deluxe Resorts with
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. With this perk, you have the run of EPOCT or Magic Kingdom for 2 hours after the parks close to experience many of the attractions with reduced wait times. Disney has not made an official announcement yet if this will continue into 2023 but if it does, Grand Destino would not qualify for this option.
In my own opinion, the Magic Kingdom Resorts are home to me and my family. The Polynesian or Contemporary are my top 2 Resorts. You can walk to Magic Kingdom from the Contemporary and you can easily access
Pineapple Lani for a DOLE Whip while you stroll along the beach with Cinderella Castle in view. Both have super easy access to EPCOT by monorail which is a quicker experience than bus transportation, in my opinion. One of my favorite things to do at the Contemporary is grabbing a mid-afternoon coffee and sitting at the
Contempo Cafe and enjoying the environment while watching the monorail go by! So either the Polynesian or Contemporary would have my vote!
Best of luck making this decision and just know, either way you go, there is no bad choice and you are in for a Magical time either way! If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
