Hi Brooke!
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for reaching out to us hEAR with this fantastic
Disneyland Resort Hotel planning question!
You are in for such a treat, Brooke! Not only is The Craftsman Club at
Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa beautiful, there's a lovely terrace where you can take in the sights and sounds of this part of The Happiest Place on Earth -
which include *Fireworks on the weekend! (Warning, the view is somewhat obstructed, but, if you get there at least 30 minutes before you'll have somewhere to sit and you can partake in evening cocktails and cordials.)
A Concierge should be reaching out to you soon, usually in the four to six weeks leading up to your arrival, to ask how they can make your stay the Best! Weekend! Ever! While a Concierge can and will absolutely love to assist with dining reservations or anything else you need,
Disneyland Dining Reservations do open 60 days in advance for all guests, so it's best that you also try for any dining location that is on the top of your Disney must-do list. Some of the most popular reservations that seem to go very quickly (as in on the first day they are available) are Blue Bayou Restaurant, Carthay Circle (both the Restaurant and the Lounge), Lamplight Lounge, Napa Rose, Oga's Cantina, Trader Sam's Enchanted Tiki Bar, and Wine Country Trattoria. But not to fret if you can't get a reservation for one the top spot on your list: you're more than welcome to inquire at the host stand if there are any same-day reservations available, and
some locations even offer the ability to join the wait list through the
Disneyland Mobile App! The Concierge will also do their best, but they are also subject to the same pool of reservations as everyone else.
Pro Tip:
Plan to spend at least one night in the Club Lounge! You can easily make a meal out of the appetizer selections (the spread between 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. features everything from charcuterie and salad, to sliders and three to five tapas-style bites. You're even more than welcome to nibble off of the kid's station, which might feature chicken fingers or macaroni and cheese. But the real star of the show is the dessert selection. Bonus Pro Tip: Don't forget to take a few goodies back to your guestroom with you for a midnight snack!
I hope this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney Days, Brooke! Be sure to follow the
