Welcome Back, Sherry!
I'm excited for you to be planning another Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Honestly, you cannot go wrong with either of these
Deluxe Disney Resort Hotels. I've stayed at both and while they have very different theming and styles, they both actually have two club lounges, so you have four spaces to consider. All of the lounges do follow the
same timeline of when they offer breakfast, snacks, hors d'oeuvres, and evening treats.
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa has a main lobby building as well as several outer buildings. One outer building (Sugar Loaf) has a club lounge, which is located in an open area on the first floor. While this building is conveniently located near the main building, the lounge placement is in the middle of the building. The Royal Palm Club in the main building, however, has floor-to-ceiling windows that look directly on Magic Kingdom Park, and is the perfect spot to watch Happily Ever After, the nightly fireworks show. Both of these lounges follow the same food offering schedule as above, with an additional afternoon tea service as well.
The two lounges at Disney's Contemporary Resort are located in spaces that also look to Magic Kingdom Park, and both these both have balconies. The Atrium Club is located on the 12th floor, which is the highest floor you can see from the inside of the atrium. The Tower Club is on the secret 14th floor. It almost feels like a boutique hotel in that you cannot see the monorail level, it's much quieter, and has a much more 'exclusive' feel to it. In fact there are only 16 guest rooms on this floor.
I hope this helped, Sherry, and We'll See You Real Soon!
