Are clothes lines allowed at Fort Wilderness?

Hi Stephanie! Clothes lines are not allowed to be put up at any of the site either in the campground or the cabins.  Of course that doesn't mean that you haven't seen them in the past as sometimes guests will do this without knowing the rules.  Others often use tent lines or canopy lines to drape wet towels and swimsuits so they can dry quickly.

You cannot use anything to dry out your normal laundry around your site.  There are many wonderful and clean restroom and laundry facilities located close to each site.  These are easy to reach and easy to use for all your needs during your Fort Wilderness stay.
