    What is the closest hotels to the start of the Disney half and full marathon at Disney world. January 4-8 Thanks

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    The Walt Disney World Half Marathon and Marathon both have their beginning staging area and finish line in the Epcot parking lot.  So, the Epcot area resorts are the closest resorts to the start. These include: 
    Disney's Beach Club Resort
    Disney's Yacht Club Resort
    Disney's Boardwalk Inn
    Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin

    All of the Walt Disney World Resorts (including these Epcot resorts) will have complimentary bus transportation running to and from all race weekend events.  It's a huge benefit of staying on property.
