Are closed-toe shoes required on rides?

Hello from one fellow Texan to another!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I can tell you that I am a fan of sandals and I wear them no matter what the temperatures are outside.  Of course, the only footwear I take with me to Walt Disney World are sandals and it drives my family crazy. They are just so comfortable! I think living in Texas has a lot to do with it, too.  The weather can never make up its mind. You will be able to use open-toed shoes, but I highly recommend that they have a strap.  Now if you plan on riding horses at the Tri-Circle-D Ranch, which is located at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, closed-toe shoes are required.

Diane's Tip of the Day:  Looking for some great Disney merchandise prior to your arrival?  The Shop Disney Parks App has it all.  Trust me, you will find something for every member on your list and something special just for you.

Have a MAGICAL day and "SEE YOU REAL SOON!"
