Hi Jennifer!
I am a Florida flip flop girl and wear sandals in the winter, although I don't think you can count Florida as having winters. Anyway! I don't even pack closed-toe shoes for Walt Disney World anymore. That being said, the only thing you need closed-toe shoes for is if you are booked on a
tour that includes visiting locations that are "backstage", or behind the scenes. If not, all
Walt Disney World attractions are fair game for open-toe shoes.
If you're wearing backless shoes and plan on gliding on
Soarin' Around the World in
Epcot, leave your shoes on the ground before you take off or put them in the bag compartment underneath your seat. You won't have to worry about them slipping off mid-air.
Please stop back by and visit if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
