It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Diane!
Waking up early in the morning to plan my
FastPass+ selections is one of my favorite things to do because it reminds me that I really am about to go on vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! I understand that it can be a fine balance trying to make room for everything you want to do, like all those attractions and
advanced dining reservations, so let's chat about my personal FastPass+ strategy and why I think it works well for my family.
In a perfect world, I like to have my FastPass+ bookings lined up back to back beginning at least an hour after the theme park I'm visiting opens to the general public. For example, if
Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9 a.m., I'll arrive before the theme park opens so I can make the most of those early morning hours when guests are still filtering in for the day and begin with my first FastPass+ selection around 10:30 a.m. I like making them as close together as possible, so I'll choose the next one around 11:30 a.m. with my final pre-selection around 12:30 p.m. I like booking my last one around this time of day because once you've redeemed your final pre-selected FastPass+ you can begin booking new ones, one at a time. If you make your FastPass+ selections back-to-back like that, you'll be able to start making more selections sooner! Of course, there are about a million different ways to plan a fantastic day at Walt Disney World Resort, so the best way to make those FastPass+ bookings is at whatever time works best for your family.
Have a magical day, Diane!
