    Hey Howdy Hey Mike!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your great questions. I think your children are the perfect ages to start experiencing and appreciating the magic of the Disneyland Resort. Lucky for you, the Disneyland Resort is open 365 days a year. You can also find park hours and entertainment schedules online up to 6 weeks before your vacation.

Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are literally footsteps apart. It is so convenient to jump between the two parks if you have a Park Hopper Ticket. We just returned from a four day trip and found this is a really great amount of time to spend when you are with a family. You will have plenty of time to ride attractions, see all the amazing entertainment, and try so many delicious foods without feeling rushed. When you have little ones that also may want to experience the same attractions or shows multiple times, this gives them the opportunity to do so.

If your children are fans of Disney Junior cartoons, I would highly recommend the Disney Junior Dance Party! at Disney California Adventure Park. Our toddler and preschooler family members had such a blast dancing along with their favorite Characters. If you are looking for something extra special for your little ones then I'd recommend making appointments at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique in Disneyland Park to transform your children into knights or princesses for the day.

I hope this helps, and I'm wishing your family a magical vacation!
