How close to the castle can a person sit during the evening Kiss Goodnight? Is there a schedule for the kiss anywhere?

    Hi Lisa.

Although most Guests are headed out of the park, down Main Street U.S.A. by the time the actual, official Kiss Goodnight happens, you're welcome to watch from anywhere you wish. The Kiss lasts for only about 3 minutes, so you may find that a seat isn't even necessary! It's an absolutely serenely beautiful and magical time to witness Cinderella Castle in all her glory.

This magical moment occurs as the park officially closes for the night, and is accompanied by beautiful music (When You Wish Upon A Star playing softly in the background) while a Thank You and Goodnight message is played over the park's loudspeaker system. It's truly one of those 'goose-bumpy' moments that only Disney can orchestrate!

Viewing from the top of Main Street U.S.A. is your best vantage point to watch Cinderella Castle twinkle through softly lit, changing colours, before fading to darkness and then becoming solidly lit once again.
Although there is no schedule posted, the Kiss occurs just after the park is officially closed, as per the park hours calendar found on the Walt Disney World website.

I hope this information is helpful to you Lisa. Please feel free to write me back if you have additional questions. I'd love to hear from you again.

Enjoy watching the Kiss Goodnight on your next visit!
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World.
