Welcome back to planDisney, Michael!
It is an honor to continue to assist you to plan pixie-dusted visits to The Most Magical Place on Earth! As the
phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort continues, I am happy to share that the magic is still very strong and it is waiting for you and your loved ones to create new memories!
Since you are already preparing for your upcoming visit, please note that the well-being of all Guests and Cast Members is the number one priority. Updated health and safety measures have been implemented to ensure we can all enjoy the magic responsibly, that is why all visitors ages 2 and older are required to wear face coverings at all times unless swimming or when actively eating or drinking while stationary.
All face coverings (whether disposable or reusable) must:
• Be made with at least 2 layers of breathable material;
• Fully cover the nose and mouth and secure under the chin;
• Fit snugly against the side of the face;
• Be secured with ties or ear loops.
Since face shields do not meet the requirements listed above, they are not allowed. At this time, based on guidance from health authorities, neck gaiters, open-chin triangle bandanas and face coverings containing valves, mesh material or holes of any kind are also not considered acceptable face coverings.
planDisney tip: check out these magical
face covering recommendations from our panelists on the Disney Parks Blog. One of my favorite tips is selecting masks for the whole family from the amazing collection available at
shopDisney.com.
It was a pleasure answering another question coming your way, Michael. I hope this helps you while planning and that you have a magical visit to The Walt Disney World Resort.
Best Disney wishes,
Thiana
