Are clear bags needed for entry to Theme parks?

    Hi Sheri! Welcome to planDisney!

Only a few days stand between you and your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! I know just how busy AND exciting the final days of the countdown to your vacation are. I'm so excited for you!

Now is the perfect time to begin considering what you will bring with you for your days in the theme parks. Clear bags are welcome but not required. My family always brings a backpack with us because we carry multiple rain ponchos, handheld fans, sunscreen, small snacks, water bottles, and more! Just make sure your bag isn't larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high and you will be good to go!

You can take a look at the Park Rules before your visit to read up on any items that are prohibited, but a few common items that you will want to avoid are loose ice (ice packs or ice contained in a zipped bag is fine), alcoholic beverages, and glass containers (except for small ones like baby food jars).

I hope this helps, Sheri! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
