I am a class 1 diabetic and my daughter is on a motability scooter can we please get DAS passes Many Thanks

    Hi Chloe!

Welcome to plan Disney! We're so glad that you found us hEAR. I can see that you're getting ready for your most magical Holiday. I'm happy to be your planEAR today!

One of the things that I love about Walt's original theme park was that it was designed with the whole family in mind, and that's still something that today's group of Cast Members strives to uphold. I can't guarantee that you'll be granted the use of Disability Access Services, aka DAS, as I am not an official Cast Member on that team. However, it sounds like you and your daughter will be good candidates. You can certainly email the team ahead of time to see if you can set something up before your arrival. The email address for that team is disability.services@disneyland.com. Or, you may also wait until your arrival to set up your service in person. To do this you'll visit the main Guest Relations location in either park, which is City Hall on Main Street U.S.A. in Disneyland Park and the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park.

While I'm so sorry I can't provide a better answer right now, I can leave you with some links to become better acquainted with some of the services, allowances, and limitations you can expect as far as the mobility scooter. If you'd prefer to not travel with her scooter, Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs) are available for rent directly from Disneyland as well as a third-party vendor, Scooterbug, who will drop your unit off at your Disneyland Hotel before your arrival. If you have any medication that you'd rather not carry around with you all day or it needs to be refrigerated, you may leave it at the in-park First Aid locations. And lastly, hEAR's a map of the restrooms should you want to scout out all companion or scooter-friendly locations in advance.

I'm so excited about your upcoming visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, Chloe! Be sure to keep up with both the Disney Parks Blog as well as the official planDisney Instagram account for all kinds of tips and tricks and 'what not to miss' moments. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
