Just want to clarify the Extra Magic Hours. If, for example, Magic Kingdom has EMH on Dec 1st and the park is scheduled to open @ 8am, does this mean if I'm staying on property, I can show up @ 7am and the park will be open?

    Hi Wendy!!!

I love taking advantage of the Extra Magic Hours that the theme parks offer to resort guests.  This is definitely one of the best perks to staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel!!

If the Magic Kingdom is scheduled to regularly open at 8:00am, then yes, it will open at 7:00am if it is scheduled to have Morning Extra Magic Hours.  Morning Extra Magic Hours will result in a selected theme park opening up an hour early for resort hotel guests.  For the rest of 2012, Evening Extra Magic Hours will result in a selected theme park staying open for three hours past regular park closing.  Starting in 2013, Evening Extra Magic Hours will change to two hours past regular park closing.

I hope this helps and that you have a magical day!!
