Just a clarification question on the Dining Plan. My mom and I are planning a vacation for 2025 and looking at the quick service plan. I understand the dining plan is for each night. Does that mean we would not get credits for the day of arrival?

Hi Kaitlyn, and welcome to planDisney! I'm excited to see that you are planning ahead for your mother-daughter trip in 2025 - that is sure to be a most magical celebration together! With the announcement about the return of the dining plan options at the Walt Disney World Resort, it's the perfect time to start planning for an adventure filled with dining, snacking, and drinking! Let's get into your question!

With the purchase of either the Quick Service Dining Plan or the Disney Dining Plan, your meals and snacks will be given upfront as a bank of entitlements for each night of your resort stay, which offers you immediate access to them upon arrival and flexibility on when you choose to use them throughout your time on property. Any unused meals and snacks will expire at midnight on the day of your check-out.

Since you are looking at the Quick Service Dining Plan, be sure to check out the list of over 100  participating restaurants. With so much variety and the ability to take advantage of Mobile Ordering for many quick service meals, this is a great option to maximize your time and keep on-the-go while in the parks!

Kaitlyn, here's one more bonus tip for putting your snacks to good use: if you will be visiting during any of the EPCOT festivals, most of them will feature pop-up booths or outdoor kitchens with some unique culinary offerings that often can count as snack credits! This is a great option to snack around the world or try something new! A great resource for this is the Disney Parks Blog Foodie Guide, which will publish menus and updates for special events as they get closer! Check it out and come back to us anytime at planDisney if you have additional questions!

    Happy Snacking,
    Alison
