Hello! This is a clarification question based on some answers I have already read. I saw that loose ice is not allowed in parks (for coolers), but is ice in sealed ziploc bags ok?

    Hello, Vanessa,

Thank you for sending your question to planDisney.  My goodness, your trip is literally just days away! When I'm that close to a Walt Disney World trip, my days are filled with Disney daydreams as I think of all the new memories my family will make on the trip. You are visiting while one of my favorite special events is happening:  EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. I adore how EPCOT is transformed into an even lovelier spot with the extra flowering landscapes and topiaries. It is a beautiful treat for guests to enjoy.

You are correct that Park Rules state that loose ice as well as dry ice are not allowed in coolers.  Walt Disney World prefers guests use re-useable ice packs, but ice in sealed plastic bags is permitted. Please remember, too, that coolers must not be larger than 24" long x 15" wide x 18" high.  There are locker rentals available at the theme parks and water parks if you'd like to keep your cooler in there while it is not in use.

Wishing you a magical trip! Please let us know if you have any further questions.
