I have a city select double stroller and we are going to visit Disney for the 4th of July. I think once us open is 38 by 42 but not sure. Is this stroller allowed in the parks?

    Hi there, Adriana!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Guess what?!?!  Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here before you know it!  I have not visited the theme parks for the 4th of July, but I anticipate you will have a festive and memorable time!

I am glad you stopped by with your question about Walt Disney World Resort’s recently updated stroller size requirements.  Effective May 1, 2019, Walt Disney World has eliminated the use of stroller wagons in the theme parks and limited personal strollers to a maximum size of 31 inches wide x 52 inches long.  I checked the dimensions of your particular stroller (which I LOVED when my boys were smaller) and unfortunately it does not meet Walt Disney World Resort’s stroller requirement, unless used as a single stroller.  In fact, the website for the stroller states that the stroller does meet the requirements as a single stroller, but not in its double configuration.  Since I am a big believer of stroller usage in the theme parks, I would recommend either renting a double stroller at the theme parks or renting one from an outside vendor.  While it’s super convenient to get a stroller inside the theme parks, we always opted to rent one from an outside company because we could take it back to our hotel at the end of a long day!  Because little legs always pick the most inopportune time to decide they cannot go one step further…and usually that’s when mom and dad are done, too!  So, being able to stroll them back to our hotel was always an added convenience we enjoyed!

Another one of my “must haves” when traveling with littles is the My Disney Experience Mobile app.  Make sure you have it before heading to the theme parks so you will have access to wait times and my favorite, Mobile Food Ordering!  That has often been a lifesaver for us!

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
