I am a citizen of the Philippines, traveling on a round trip closed loop cruise from Port Canaveral and stopping at Castaway Cay and Nassau. I have a valid multiple entry visa to the USA. Do I need to apply for a Bahamas Visa to board the ship?

Welcome back to planDisney, Melody!  I'm glad that you sailed back to us with your question.

As a citizen of The Philippines, you will need a visa to travel to The Bahamas in addition to your original valid passport.  You will need to present the visa at Port Canaveral before embarking on the Disney Wish even if you have no plans of disembarking the ship in Nassau, Bahamas.   It is each Guest's responsibility to identify and obtain the necessary visas before their cruise begins.  Guests without proper documentation will be denied boarding.

If you feel like you need more information, I suggest you contact Disney Cruise Line Embarkation Guest Services.  They can be reached by calling 1-800-395-9374 and are open Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm (ET).  On Saturday and Sunday, they are open from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (ET).  Please select option 1.

Melody, I hope this provides you with the information you need for your upcoming vacation onboard Disney Cruise Line.  Don't forget to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app prior to embarking so you can access all of the onboard activities once you are connected to the DCL-GUEST wireless network

Please visit planDisney again if you have any other questions.

    Happy Sailing!
