Is the Cirque show worth the extra money to take my a young child to? I'm sure it's a wonderful show, Just wondering if it will hold the attention of a little one.

That's a tough question.  On one hand, I can attest that it is an amazing production.  That being said, it is a fairly lengthy show (approx. 90 minutes) with no intermission.  Admittedly, even I got a bit antsy towards the end of the performance.  A young child's reaction will of course depend on his or her personality.  You might consider how well he/she does during a movie.  Does she sit through the whole thing or does she get distracted halfway through?  La Nouba features a lot of colorful costumes, great music, and lively performers but parts of the show are more subdued (and artsy) than others.  I can tell you that, personally, I might wait a couple of years, but really I think it depends on the child's unique personality and his or her toleration of lengthy shows.  Good luck with your decision.
