We are going to Cinderella's Table for a late lunch at 2:35PM on September 30. Where should we stand to view the Festival of Fantasy Parade at 2:00PM and still get to our reservations on time? Or just skip the parade for lack of time?

    Greetings, Ashley!

Now I have the catchy theme song from the Festival of Fantasy Parade dancing through my head. I love that song, and the parade. In fact, that is my favorite parade at Walt Disney World Resort at present. If you have any interest in costuming, you are in for a real treat with this parade. The level of detail in the costumes and on the floats is spectacular. Be on the lookout for the dresses designed to look like a circus big top. They're my favorite. And the steam punk, fire-breathing dragon? I have never seen anything like it. Be sure to have your camera at the ready.

There's no need for you to skip this parade on September 30th. Arrive along the parade route approximately thirty minutes before parade starting time. Grab a spot in Liberty Square in front of The Hall of Presidents. The parade lasts twelve minutes. Once it passes you, or by 2:25 pm (whichever comes first), walk toward Columbia Harbour House and continue on into Fantasyland. You'll pass Peter Pan's Flight and It's A Small World. When you reach Prince Charming Regal Carrousel, look right and you'll see the back of Cinderella Castle. That's where you'll check in for lunch. If you're a visual person like me and wish to see a map of the parade route, just open a search engine and look for "Festival of Fantasy parade route."

Enjoy your lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table, and be sure to let us know if you need any additional advice. We'd be delighted to help!

Sending best wishes and pixie dust,
    Jill
