At Cinderella's Table, do infants or kids under 3 years old receive a wand or sword? Or only given to kids with paid meals?

Hi Janice, and welcome to planDisney!

What a treat it is to visit Cinderella's Royal Table during your most magical vacation! Although my two little princes have not had the honor to be in the presence of royalty at this coveted restaurant at Magic Kingdom Park, I hear nothing but the best about it from my fellow planDisney panelists and friends. I'd be more than happy to give you some insight about what magnificent surprises await!

I had to wave my own magic wand to materialize a full answer for you, Janice, but you will be happy with what I've discovered. First, I spoke to a lovely Cast Member via the "Chat With Us" feature in the My Disney Experience app, and he explained that officially the second youngest members of the court (those aged 3-9) are the only ones to receive the wand or sword at the meal. He stressed that this is a surprise for them, and they are not guaranteed. It never hurts to politely ask a Cast Member while you're there about whether the wands and swords will be offered.

Now, I waved my wand just a bit more and spoke to my Disney-loving friends who just visited Cinderella's Royal Table only a few weeks ago. Their little ones were given the wand or sword, and even the adults were offered them! So, you really never know what magic is in store for your party. And don't forget to collect your Wishing Star, which is given to you at your table in preparation for a cool moment while dining.

AN EXTRA GEM: As you may know, this character dining experience is prepaid, but it is absolutely free for little princes and princesses under the age of 3. You'll have to pay for your meal at the time of booking before the royal gathering begins. Although not required, consider dressing up your little ones in their royal best as they will be in the company of their beloved princess friends!

I hope that you found this information even the tiniest bit helpful, Janice. I'm wishing on a star that you have the most magical vacation with your little ones. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask us here at planDisney.

    Magic always,
