When will Cinderella’s castle be decorated with Christmas lights this year? Will it be decorated by November 2-3? Thank you.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Jolene!

There’s nothing quite like the Walt Disney World Resort during the most wonderful time of the yEAR! It’s my favorite season to visit. Getting to enjoy the magical special events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, and the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays just makes for a holly jolly holiday. But getting to see the resorts and especially Cinderella Castle lit up in frozen fractals makes visiting during Christmastime extra magical!

Jolene, the seamless transformation that happens after the last fall special event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, to the first holiday special event, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is so fun to witness! This transformation usually happens that first week of November, in preparation for the unofficial Christmas kickoff November 9th. You might not get to see Cinderella Castle transformed until that night, but if you’re at the parks that week, you will get a front seat to the magical transformation that happens overnight at the parks.

Want to get a behind the scenes look at the magic that helps transform the parks? Disney’s Yuletide Fantasy Tour will get you up close and personal, so you can learn more.

I hope you have an enchanted visit this holiday season! If you need any planning tips to make sure you enjoy all the magic that happens during this special season, be sure to stop by. It’s our pleasure to add some pixie-dusted holiday chEAR to your vacation.

    See ya real soon!
