Hi Jessica,
Welcome to planDisney!
It sounds as if we might have royal Guests preparing to visit the Walt Disney World Resort! The good news is that Cinderella did come out to greet Guests during our lunch when we last dined in Cinderella Castle. During our meal, she came out and spoke a few words to the crowd and waved. From our table, we were able to take a few photos of her during that time. Given that we do not yet know what the
health and safety protocols might at the time of your visit, I cannot say whether or not the traditional character dining experience will return or if Cinderella will be able to greet Guests in the entrance area to the castle as she did in years prior.
Having said this, I will say that we still adore dining at
Cinderella's Royal Table. We are planning to dine here on our visit in December and are so excited! Although we normally do lunch or dinner, on this next trip we made a breakfast reservation. When our girls were younger, they had to come in their royal attire, so if you have a princess or prince traveling with you, remember to bring a special outfit for the occasion.
Since your visit is a few months away, do keep checking the
operational updates, especially the
dining updates since experiences may re-open or change prior to your visit. Stay alert while visiting. On our last few visits, we were tickled with several character sightings while in the parks. While I miss the days of
Princess Fairytale Hall, we have been in the midst of so many fun surprise character sightings on our last visits, those pictures are priceless.
Jessica, keep planning! Make a note of your
advanced dining reservation window and be prepared to make dining reservations when your window opens. I am online by 5:45 a.m. on our dining reservation day to start making reservations. Sending you a little dining reservation pixie dust as you plan!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
