Welcome to planDisney, Gemma! Thank you for bringing your question to us.
The
Disney Cruise Line Alcohol Policy states that each Guest 21 years of age and older can bring a maximum of 2 sealed bottles of wine or champagne (no more than 750 ml each) or 6 beers (no more than 12 ounces each) onboard. Unfortunately, you will not be able to bring on any cider nor a beer larger than 12 ounces. If you find an option within the volume requirement, the alcohol must be in your carry-on bag, not your checked luggage, or it will be removed. I suggest using a small roller bag as a carry-on because you will need to carry this bag with you until your stateroom is ready.
If you have someone between the ages of 18 and 20 traveling with you since you are sailing on a round-trip cruise departing from a European country, you may sign a beverage consent form allowing the 18 to 20 year old to purchase alcoholic beverages while onboard. You can ask about this waiver upon check-in at the cruise terminal.
Gemma, if you decide not to bring wine, champagne, or beer on board, there are plenty of options to purchase beverages on the
Disney Fantasy. In the
Europa Adult District, there are a few bars that you can visit, including the champagne bar Ooh La La and the pub O'Gill's. You will also find bars on Deck 11 in the family pool area and the adult-exclusive Quiet Cove Pool area.
