Ahoy, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney!
You’re speaking my love language right now because of ALL the sweet treats you find on a Disney Cruise, the Churro Mickey Waffles just might be my favorite! These little goodies can be elusive, but I’m going to tell you where I always find them when I do. Head to Marceline Market on the second-to-last morning of your sailing (this is your
Castaway Cay day). Once you walk into breakfast, look for the Kids Corner.
I was about to tell you to “grab them while they’re hot”, but these cinnamon sugar-coated Disney snacks never sit around for long once they’re made. And if you ask me, there’s only one right way to eat any Mickey waffle: ears first and dunked in syrup. But of course, we all have our own Disney side, so I’ll let you discover what tastes best to you.
Since menus cannot be guaranteed, it helps to speak to the dining team once onboard to check to see if they are on the scheduled menu during your sailing. Likewise, you can even ask one of your servers at dinner the night before to request the churro waffles. The Cast Members are great at accommodating your culinary desires whenever possible, and even special dietary requests. (I’ve even had gluten-free Mickey Waffles when dealing with a family allergy by filling out the
Special Services Request Form ahead of our sailing.)
And since you’ll be headed to Castaway Cay on your
7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise, let me share another special treat I like to make after lunch at Cookies BBQ. I grab two chocolate chip cookies and head over to the soft serve machine to make an ice cream cookie sandwich (my favorites are strawberry and mango). Even when you’re on the island, lunch is part of
what’s included in your Disney Cruise fare.
When can we do this again? A magically enchanted experience awaits you on the
Disney Treasure, but if you have any other questions before setting sail, we’ll be waiting for you here at
planDisney.
Sea ya real soon!
