I have Chron's disease and I am in the middle of a crisis and would like to know how the guest assistance card would work for me and my party or 3. Thanks a lot.

    Hi Renata ~

I have several friends with Crohn's Disease so I know how painful it can be. The Disability Access Service Card (DAS) is designed to assist Guests who are unable to wait in a standard queue for a number of medical reasons including those that are not apparent.

You can request a DAS by going to Guest Relations at any of the four theme parks. A Cast Member (CM) will ask you some questions so they can best accommodate your specific needs. They will take your photo for the DAS, go over the terms and conditions, and have you sign the DAS.

Once you obtain a DAS, you can go to an attraction and see a CM at the entrance to get a return time to enter the Disney FastPass+ service (FP+) queue. The CM will fill in the information on the DAS indicating the return time which is determined by taking the current wait time and subtracting 10 minutes. You will not need to be present to get a return time for attractions but you must be present when entering the queue and boarding the attraction. Once the return time on the DAS is reached, you and your party can go to the attraction anytime afterwards - there is no pressure to make it back within a certain time frame.

You can only obtain a return time for one attraction at a time but can get another DAS return time as soon as you have finished one. FP+ can be used in addition to the DAS. If you are eligible to make FP+ selections for your family prior to your trip, I would encourage you to do so.

Here is a list of Frequently Asked Questions about the DAS.
