Hi BreAnna,
The holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort is truly magical, and you're in for a treat! While details about late December have not yet been released, we can certainly look back at the festive fun that has historically transformed Magic Kingdom Park during Christmas week!
In the past, after December 20th, Magic Kingdom Park has showcased the "Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade," featuring beloved Disney characters decked out in their festive best. Look out for Mickey, Minnie, and Santa Claus himself! The park sparkles with holiday decorations, including twinkling lights, giant Christmas trees, and festive wreaths.
You may be able to experience the magic of snowfall in Florida as you stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. It’s the perfect backdrop for creating unforgettable holiday memories! Let’s not forget about the Characters! You may see your favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday attire!
Magic Kingdom Park isn’t the only place that offers
holiday cheer.
Head on over to EPCOT where you can celebrate the E
PCOT International Festival of the Holidays. You’ll be able to enjoy seasonal treats, festive entertainment, and learn about holiday traditions from around the world.
Over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios prepare to be dazzled by the Sunset Seasons Greetings on Sunset Boulevard and Tower of Terror. Lastly at Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Discover the festive touches throughout the park, including the Merry Menagerie of winter animals on Discovery Island.
Last year my family visited
Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and were delighted to find Santa Clause himself ready to meet the kids!
We wish you a very merry holiday season filled with joy, laughter, and magical moments! Keep an eye out on the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates on holiday events and activities at the Walt Disney World Resort. Until then, may your days be merry and bright!
