Hello and welcome to
planDisney, Penny! Thanks for stopping by with your question. I see you have a trip planned to the Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short weeks. I bet you are getting so excited!
Penny, I just returned from a trip to
Walt Disney World and I can confirm that the single rider option on the attractions that offer this is open and available to use. Parties are no longer separated for the attractions that utilize a single rider line. However, there are only four attractions that offer this option.
Single Rider Attractions: - Expedition Everest at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
- Test Track at Epcot
- Rock "N" Roller Coaster at Disney's Hollywood Studios
- Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Disney's Hollywood Studios
My family is a party of 3 and I'm very familiar with which attractions we get split up on or can enjoy just the three of us. I did want to mention that if you are trying to avoid sitting with other Guests at this time, Slinky Dog Dash at Disney's Hollywood Studios is also filling all of the available seats on this attraction. There isn't a single rider line but if they can, they are grouping parties together to get as many people on as possible.
If this is something that concerns you, I suggest talking to a Cast Member that is posted up outside of the attraction at the entrance of the queue. It certainly doesn't hurt to ask if there is any possibility that your party could be sat alone due to your comfort level. I'm not sure what they will say to this request but I find Walt Disney World to be accomodating so I would certainly feel comfortable asking to see what they say.
I hope this helps, Penny. If you have any other questions before your trip, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help. I hope you have fun on your trip!
Have a great day!
