    Hi! If the Christmas Parade taping is at the MK December 8-9, 2014- will there still be an opening ceremony on December 8? Or will the train interfere with the taping and they will skip it? Thanks for your help!

    Hello and welcome to the Moms Panel!

    I am thrilled that you will be visiting Walt Disney World during the month of December!  The sights and sounds during this time of year are simply MAGICAL.  

    In the past, the opening ceremony still took place.  However, I cannot guarantee that the ceremony will happen this year for both dates mentioned in your question. The only thing I can guarantee is that I will send some pixie dust wishes your way in hopes that you'll be able to enjoy the opening ceremony at the Magic Kingdom.
