Will the Christmas lights and decorations still be up when we visit? We check in 1/2/15 and check out 1/8/15.

    Hi, Laura!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks so much for stopping by with your great question. I'm glad to hear you're planning a vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort with your family this January!

The official holiday season at the resort this past year was from Nov. 8, 2013 to Jan. 5, 2014. Although specifics of this year’s holiday offerings haven’t been announced yet, there’s a good chance you’ll still be able to get a glimpse of the glittering Cinderella Castle and other seasonal touches during the first few days of your visit to the theme parks. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for more details about specific dates as your trip approaches.

I hope this helps, Laura. Please write back with any other questions you have as your planning continues!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
